Malcolm i lost

Wasnt qite sure to put this one. This image is a product of my dreams more or less.

What you see is a forest made up of mushroom like trees. this idea appeared in a dream i had as a big flat mushroom tree, inspired by a symbol tile i found in a game called Uru: ages beyond myst. that dream is atlesat 3 years old.

I gave the trees some volume for this school assignment, but i think it would have been more freaky if they were of the flat kind. i then describe the trees as of a material not belonging. its hard, and if a tree is attempted to be cut down or broken, it wil at best wibrate with a deep sound that you can feel, not hear. the trees appear from small holes in the ground. beyond the holes there is space, meaning that the trees isnt teknically standing in the world you see, and therefor cast no shadow. the big trees without holes cast shadow.

The black eel with tentacles is from e very different dream, he appeard as a primitive fish about the size of a human. I named him Malcolm. In the dream where he appeared, i was fighting him underwater. Being strangled by the malcolm and wrestle with him for several minutes without being able to breathe is annyoing and frustrationg. i got really pissed off during the fight, and eventually i won. i later i fried the thing in a pan. Malcolm is a creature of instincts. it is evil, but not by choice. he is inspired by the look of certain seaweed i have seen.
